Task: Protect contents against illegal distribution.

Premium content is shipped to customers on DVD and/or via the Internet. The contents can be enjoyed only through a special player program which reads the contents. Due to the desirability of the contents, a secure copy protection is required to prevent illegal distribution.

Solution: Protect both the software and the contents with the Syncrosoft eLicenser.

The security is substantially increased if both the player and the contents are protected with the Syncrosoft eLicenser. On the player side, program code is linked to the Syncrosoft eLicenser using MCFACT. The content itself is protected using advanced and optimized encryption algorithms which require the Syncrosoft eLicenser.
