Today, Syncrosoft, a provider of innovative security technology for DRM and software IP protection solutions, announces that it's MCFACT Copy Protection Technology successfully protects software products on the Windows platform against cracks for more than 3 years. On Apple’s Mac OS X platform, software products protected with Syncrosoft’s MCFACT Copy Protection Technology have never been cracked.

Syncrosoft’s MCFACT technology protects software against reverse-engineering, debugging and tampering. The MCFACT Copy Protection solution adds a secure link between MCFACT-protected software applications and a security-hardware, like tokens or smart-cards. MCFACT has never been attacked successfully since the launch of the technology in the year 2000.

Syncrosoft’s eLicenser DRM solution, which has been acquired in 2008 by Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH, a subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation, is based on the MCFACT Copy Protection Technology.
